This place is a little hidden gem, at least for me. Went to visit a friend in Des Plains, and she suggested this place, and it did not disappoint. From the outside, you would think it's nothing special, but the inside is incredibly beautiful. The artwork on the walls is amazing, and the entire place is visually pleasing, like a mini art gallery. I could have stayed around and looked for a while. The food was very good, and our server, Brian, was exceptional. There is seating inside, which is stunning, and then there's an outdoor covered patio, and then an outdoor uncovered patio with water views, very relaxing. I would definitely go back to this restaurant.

Having visited this restaurant, of course, what impresses everyone is the interior! I don't know what kind of church was here once, but the stained glass is very beautiful, which makes this place incredibly recognizable! But on the other hand, I found it a little strange, realizing that it was a former church. The food was quite good, the appetizers were very tasty, especially the scallops. But the paella was so-so. And the drinks weren't very impressive either, we took non-alcoholic ones, so apart from mojitos they had almost nothing. Although you can think of something for people who don't drink alcohol. But overall, a very good impression, I think we will come back here. Therefore, I can recommend it!

I went last Friday with my wife and my 4 months old newborn and we had a blast. Place is really really nice. They have a nice patio with an amazing view to the lake. Food overall is really good. Wifey had Salmon Poke Bowl and I had The B Burger. Everything was great, flavors and presentation were really nice, and what definitely made our evening amazing was the top notch service provided by our waitress Sofia. She made our experience truly memorable and when we left she even took the time to take us a family picture. Amazing service! We will be back for sure.

Beautiful dinner out on patio over looking a tranquil lake! While hubby had a hard time finding a dish he wanted, the chicken was a good choice. Our friend had a poke bowl which looked excellent and I had crab cakes as a main dish. We shared the amazing chocolate cake for dessert and enjoyed catching up. After dinner, we walked around the lake, which was quite dark and did love seeing the stained glass window from outside.

This was one of my absolute favorite places to dine during my trip to Chicago. I am very content and feel truly fortunate that I stumbled upon them. The location is really fantastic in what appears to be a recovered church that sits upon a lake. The building and its location provide a really fun and light atmosphere that pairs perfectly with the Mediterranean style cousine that they provide. They are very knowledgeable of food allergies and do a fantastic job of not only navigating them but also providing many options, which are free of allergens which ail you. My buddy and I tore through the menu and ordered many samplings of numerous dishes that were offered. From the breakfast menu to the dinner menu and all the way to the dessert menu. We could not find a bad dish. The experience was great, and the food was fantastic; if you are afforded the opportunity, I would highly recommend dining here. Allergy friendly options such as gluten-free are available.

I have discovered this jewel of a restaurant just a few weeks ago. Set in a mid-century styled church, its tall slanted ceilings create an unbelievable acoustic wonder, as live jams are being echoed throughout the space spun by the weekend dj. With the chill music in the background, we focus our attention to the plethora of beautiful modern art pieces on the walls throughout the space. These colorful displays of artistic wonders leave your jaw dropping. A great array of Mediterranean dishes, that can either be shared or selfishly enjoyed. A vast outside enclosed space allows for a view of the pond. As if this was not enough, there is a basement hidden speakeasy for anyone wanting to find some privacy to enjoy the incredibly mixed drinks. The owner is super approachable, friendly , humble and always welcoming you to enjoy the restaurant and tell you about future projects. As I write this review, I can say that this is my fifth time here in such a short period of time. Without a doubt, I will be back.

The location is a modern renovated church on the lake which is quite beautiful. The artwork and decor is lovely. The service was excellent and the food was very good. There is a variety of choices for brunch with delicious omelets and protein bowls.
